Hoʻoulu Lāhui is a non-profit organization (501-c3) formed in 1995, with the purpose of awakening the Hawaiian Culture, values, beliefs and lifestyle in partnership with the community to achieve unit, harmony, and total well-being (lōkahi).

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with various projects. Skilled laborers, general help, technical services, and an array of other areas per the needs of each project.

Kua O Ka Lā Charter School was formed in 2000 as a result of the successful programs developed by Ho`oulu Lāhui. Kua O Ka Lā continues to be one of the key strategic focus areas for Ho`oulu Lāhui through facilities, grants and program support.

Ho`oulu Lāhui is currently purchasing 5 acres of the beautiful Nani Mau Gardens to support the long term stabilization of Kua O Ka Lā Charter School and the development of a community Resilience Hub.
